Emma's Homestead has four rooms and one bath with tub/shower.
The two upstairs bedrooms contain three double beds. In addition,
there are two sofas for a total sleeping capacity of eight.
Linens are provided. There is a fully equipped electric kitchen;
a gas grill is also available. A wood burning fireplace and
two space heaters take the chill out of late spring and early
fall. The screened in front porch, with swing, overlooks 180
feet of private sand beach on warm Au Train Lake. A rowboat
is included. This cottage is close to the Au Train River Canoe
Trail, Hiawatha National Forest and the Au Train Song Bird
Trail, Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore, waterfalls and Lake
Superior's sand beaches. No smoking please.
This
cottage is located two miles south of M-28 at N7023 Forest
Lake Road.
