The tours operate Tuesdays through Saturdays beginning June 28, 2005 and running through mid August.

Cost is $10 per person.
Tours are open to adults and children 10 years of age and older - accompanied by an adult. (No exceptions)

The bus departs the Marquette office (501 S Front St) at 12 noon (EST) and travels to the U.S. National Ski Hall of Fame in Ishpeming. There participants get a short orientation, watch a video, meet the tour guide and get your safety equipment.

Mandatory safety equipment (hard hats & safety glasses) will be provided.

The tour involves about a mile of walking (no stairs to climb) on open steel grating.

A change in tour routes this year will allow visitors to view mining operations at the CMMC Empire facility, while the ore processing portion of the tour will take place at CMMC's Tilden concentrator and pelletizing plant facility.

No sandals, open toed or high heel shoes, skirts, dresses, halter tops or swimsuits.

Tours run rain or shine!

Reservations are highly recommended. Tickets are sold on a space available basis.
