"Anatomy of A Murder" Tours
Using a self guided brochure, tour the sites associated with the filming of the 1959 movie "Anatomy of a Murder". Based on the best-selling novel by Ishpeming defense attorney and author John Voelker, the courtroom drama is a true story of his experience successfully defending an Army Lieutenant charged with shooting a bartender in Big Bay. The film was directed and produced by Otto Preminger and starred Jimmy Stewart and Lee Remick.

The Big Bay Point Lighthouse is one of the few remaining resident lighthouses in the country. It is now operated as a bed and breakfast. Guided tours are available of the B&B and grounds May through September.
