"Anatomy
of A Murder" Tours

associated with the filming of the 1959 movie "Anatomy
of a Murder". Based on the best-selling novel by Ishpeming
defense attorney and author John Voelker, the courtroom drama
is a true story of his experience successfully defending an
Army Lieutenant charged with shooting a bartender in Big Bay.
The film was directed and produced by Otto Preminger and starred
Jimmy Stewart and Lee Remick.
