Farquar/Metsa Campground

Gitchee Gummee RV Park & Resort

This RV Park is clean and quiet with large pull through sites. Located on M-28 just East of Marquette it is directly across from Lake Superior's sandy beach. Open all year. Call 906-249-9102 for details.


Horseshoe Lake Campgrounds

Located off M-35, west of Gwinn. Fishing, swimming, boating, hiking, skiing, snowmobiling. Call (906) 346-9937.


Little Trout Lake Campground

Located in Gwinn offers swimming, fishing, boat rentals, basketball and volleyball courts and horseshoe pits. Six RV and five tent sites. Call (906)-346-7911 for more information.


Michigamme Shores

Open May through October with 80 sites. Featuring handicapped facilities, electricity, water hook ups, flush toilets, showers, swimming, laundry, playgrounds, boat/canoe rental and fishing. 2.5 miles west of Champion on Hwy 41. For reservations call (906)-339-2116.


Perkins Park

On CR 550 in Big Bay is set on the shores of Lake Independence. Well known for its supply of walleye, perch, northern pike and small mouth bass, Perkins Park has 72 sites, and is open May 15 - October 15. Call (906)-345-9353 for details and reservations.


Pike Lake State Park

Located 3 miles NW of Princeton on M-35. Call (906)-346-9666 for more information.


Tourist Park

Open mid-May to mid-October. Features include 110 campsites, clean restrooms, flush toilets, hot showers, water/electric/sewer hook ups, picnic tables, campfire rings, paved roads, beach with lifeguards, and a playground to just name a few.
